MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness has long been recognised as being beneficial for our mental and emotional health. Today it is often encouraged in the work place, is offered by the NHS and is taught in many schools.
Spiritual communities from many religious backgrounds practice disciplines akin to Mindfulness. Indeed Christian Mindfulness is followed by many Christians and Christianity has a strong tradition of Meditation and Contemplation.
From time to time the Church runs eight week non-religious Mindfulness courses following the syllabus of the Mindfulness Association.
Our Minister Rev Kevin Dudman is a qualified and experienced Mindfulness teacher .
The church also runs occasional Christian Mindfulness and Meditation evenings.
Our next course starts on 8th May for 8 weeks on Friday afternoons
from 2pm to 4pm.
